I also thought the Twilight lenses were different from the Amber Colormax's, but they're EXACTLY the same lenses. I bought the twilight's from Vampfangs.com (who are now sold out of them) and the Amber ones from Cosplaylab.com, they're originally $50, I'm selling them for $35 a pair plus S/H. | Hey guys, I won a full weekend (fri-sun)badge for PMX at this Japanese festival a few months ago, and since I'm not going to PMX anymore, I need to transfer it to someone else~

| Wow...I fail at life for not posting in over a month. xD I have so many things to post about, too, I just keep putting it off x_x I promise when I come back from NYAF I'll make a big post with all the stuff I have~
But there's just one thing I have to mention before I forget it. The other day, I was driving home from college, and you know how people will typically ride their bikes to and from school? No. This guy was riding a UNICYCLE. I SHIT YOU NOT. It was amazing. Backpack and all. I thought I was hallucinating for a second, but then he passed me at a light and I realized that it was, in fact, a unicycle. [/story]

| Well, now that I actually have the time to make an Otakon post, I hardly remember any of it in great detail. FFFFFFF. Sooooo, you'll get bullet-point highlights 8D
*Medieval Times on Thursday night~ :D Haven't been there since I was in Middle School, and it was funny to name the characters from Gurren Lagann and such. xD
*I missed the Friday Kuroshitsuji gathering, but the Saturday one was great! Even after walking to the Cheesecake Factory and the Hard Rock cafe and having to walk all the way back to The Nest, the dinner was tons of fun, and I'm glad me and the other Sebastian had the chance to surprise everyone by bringing out the water~ xD
*Third Arc D.Gray-Man shoot with ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) vikkitaken by viewpoints was a lot of fun after you know, we GOT there and I stopped wangsting about my failed eyelashes and broken swords xD Bathroom! photos ensued.
*Mojito!con. That is all.
*Impromptu Kuroshitsuji shoot with Leonard~ Can't wait for those to go up as well.
*Video lulz with Cali in the Marriott lobby on Sunday with the one of the Ouran twins who happened to be there.
*Somehow, besides Kanda for a few hours, I ended being Sebastian the entire con due to people's requests xD It was very entertaining to be in character as usual and hand out my pastries (which somehow made it through sitting for hours in Jantra's hot car).
*Much beakerface(sp?), costume swapping, and hilarious foreign accents also accompanied the con madness.
That's...all I can remember for now xD;;
Also wanted to give a welcome shoutout to everyone who's new to my LJ: lovehive, bitterprayers, brendanbadkarma, bombaycake, toxicatedpoison, tusense, unlock, and viewpoints!
It was great to finally meet some of you, and to the others, I'm glad you all finally got LJ's. xD
In other news, I road-tripped(why does that phrase sound so awkward xD) up to San Francisco this weekend with my mom to see VAMPS, since I won concert tickets courtesy of Fanimecon. I tested myself by driving there and back by myself, to see if I would possibly do that for Fanime next year. Worked out really well, we both had a blast driving up there while singing retardedly to my ipod playlist and making pit stops at delicious restaurants <3 Ihop's stuffed french toast FTW.
We got to stay at the really nice Embassy Suites in South San Francisco for free because I had enough Hilton Honors points. 8D It was really relaxing to just be in a hotel not stuffed with a bunch of people and our cosplay madness, and just sit down and watch movies and be a lazy bum. xD I kept yelling at my mom that "IT PAINS ME THAT THERE'S TWO BEDROOMS AND ENOUGH SPACE TO COMFORTABLY FIT 15 PEOPLE AND THERE'S ONLY TWO OF US AND NO CON T.T" We also got free cooked-to-order breakfast and they had this amazing drink machine that would make literally any hot drink you could think of just by pressing a button :o
The concert ended up not being what I had anticipated, because it was nothing like L'Arc-en-Ciel, and whoever was the sound manager sucked. You couldn't HEAR Hyde over the instrumentals, and the whole POINT of the concert was to hear him. xD Also, imo, all the songs sounded the same and weren't my cup of tea. Good news is that we only had to pay $4 for parking.
On Sunday, we stopped by San Jose on our way home, and visited Lily at her house, and then tried to go to Japantown for an early dinner, but found out that it kind of...doesn't even exist. lol We ended up going to where Fanime is, over by the convention center, and we ate at the Johnny Rockets that I always do when I'm at Fanime. It was so nostalgic and I found myself actually being sad that there was no convention(I missed this year's con, sadly) and the place was pretty empty. xD;; Delicious Ben and Jerry's was also had, and then we drove back home~
The best part is that we only had to pay for gas and some food 8D Awesome cheap vacation was cheap.

| Today was supposed to be the day we celebrated my mom's birthday, since I would be packing for Otakon and my dad would be working on her real birthday (the 15th), so we went out to Wood Ranch, this really nice BBQ/Steak place in Agoura Hills. ^^ We came armed with (what I thought was) her gifts and cards, and surprisingly, didn't have to wait at all! (the place is usually packed, with 1hr+ waits). I had some REALLY good beef ribs, and after we all ate, we went to open her gifts, which she asked me to open for her since her hands were dirty, so I do, and what do I find in there? A card addressed to me, along with money, and a present. FFFFFFF. THE WHOLE THING WAS A SURPRISE FOR ME. XDDD Not two seconds after I registered what had happened, the waiters all came out and gave me and my mom ice cream with candles in them and sang happy birthday~ XD I didn't eat the ice cream, but I did order some really good apple cobbler with...ice cream. xD It was such a nice surprise, especially since all our attempts for surprise parties in the past failed. xDD I totally wasn't expecting it, and it was so nice of them >w<
In other news though, I might be selling my car, a one-year old Pontiac Solstice, for those of you who don't know~. It's because Pontiac went down the drain, and I still need to verify this, but I highly doubt that I'll have access to the parts I'd need 5-10/ X number of years down the line if my car ever got damaged. I'm not worried about the back and front facia, since people still make aftermarket body parts, but I'm worried about the rest. $29,000 down the drain does not sound like the best idea to me. xD
The good news is that there's only been 4 model years released, with each having very limited production cars, so I'm hoping that it'll make it easier to sell, along with the fact that it has every option on it and is in perfect condition and under 6,000 miles.
So assuming that I do actually sell it, I'm going to try and attempt to get a used(to cut down the expensive price tag) Lotus Elise or best case scenario, Lotus Exige. They're my favorite cars, and I would LOVE to own one. >w< The gas mileage is actually exactly the same as on the Solstice, so that's not an issue. Both car's trunks are tiny, so that's also something I'm used to, but there's only one potential problem, which to others would seem ridiculous: They're only made with manual transmissions. I personally don't think I would mind driving a stick shift, but that might be a tough selling point to my parents. (My mom likes the car, so it might be possible). Also, apparently some/most of the parts are made by Toyota, so I think it would be relatively not hard to acquire. I was worrying that there wouldn't be a dealer nearby (since Lotus is a UK import brand), and there's not many locations, but there happens to be one literally 3 minutes away from my house. LOL. I'm not surprised though, the Thousand Oaks Auto Mall is supposedly the biggest one in the country.

| I found out that I have enough Hilton Honors for a free night, so I'll be going up to San Francisco for the Vamps concert on July 25 after all! I'll be there for Friday evening and Saturday during the day~ I've only ever visited Japantown before, so does anyone have tips for good places to visit? Particularly good restaurants?

| Some of you might know that Fanimecon was promoting the band VAMPS (made up of Hyde from L'Arc~en~Ciel and K.A.Z from Oblivion Dust) by holding a raffle for people to win a pair of tickets to their San Francisco concert on July 25. WELL, I WON IT. 8DDDDDD The tickets on the website go from $70-400, so I'm super lucky that I won them >w<
...There's only one problem. It's in San Francisco. XDDD So I asked them if they could give me tickets to the Los Angeles show instead, we'll see what they say. Worse comes to worse I'll drive up there and get a room or something~ Good thing if I can do that is that I'll be able to go to Japantown again, which was really fun last year after Fanime.

| I'm back from of Day 2 of AX~
What was anticipated to be a con full of fail, hassle, driving, and just me plain not caring if I really went or not turned into an AWESOME CON. I have no clue how this happened. xDDD I've been having an amazing time, and I'm really glad I did go~! I was so surprised at the sheer number of people who knew who I was, even if I didn't know who they were all the time, lol. It was really great and refreshing to finally hang out with friends who I haven't really spent quality time with in a long time, even years with some of them, due to the fact that I've been practically stuck to the same people's side for a long time.
So, without further ado, here is my Mid-con AX report so far!:
Day 1:
Attended Morikawa's(Seiyuu of Sebastian from the drama CD, Sephiroth, etc) panel, got an autograph ticket and waited in line (effectively missing the first half of the DGM gathering) for about an hour and a half, and then got denied because we were forced to come back on Day 2, of which I missed as well. xDDD Oh well.
Got to the other half of the DGM gathering, in my now completed third arc, which I am so glad is done already. XDD also got my hairtie stolen by Lavi *grumbles*
Changed into Sebastian in the PARKING GARAGE LOLOL that was an interesting experience. Worked out perfectly though, since I didn't have to drag my stuff to the bathroom. Also learned how to tie a tie over the phone A+ FOR ME. xD
Got into the shuttle line, hopped on one of the charter busses, and made my way up to the Westin hotel for the Masquerade Ball. For whatever reason, people thought it was a wonderful idea to take pictures of me in the parking garage, in a moving line, while I was texting on my phone in a hallway, and in a bus. LOL.
The Westin is a gorgeous hotel, and I'm so glad they're hosting the dance/karaoke events there. It's more of the con atmosphere that I like, rather than a large convention center (AKA the LACC). Unfortunately everyone except me lacked cell reception and couldn't get my calls. x_x Also, everyone was convinced that the ball was on Day 2 for whatever odd reason.
So I couldn't find anyone I knew at the ball, so I was texting people, and as I was doing so, I hear someone say to me, "Well, we just match perfectly, don't we?" And what do I see to my extreme amusement when I look up? A Grell in a dress and a masquerade mask. LOLOLOL. After about 2 minutes of talking to her, I quickly found out that she was the same girl who stood next to me at the An Cafe concert in LA a few months ago. xDDDD I keep having these weird coincidences. FFFFF. Anyways, I taught her how to Waltz, and we ended up being taught this one dance (that I forget the name of, it's the one where you dramatically walk really fast sideways, stop, and then walk the other way. xD Usually with a rose in your mouth lol), and so we couldn't keep a straight face while doing it. I also started two conga lines that ended up having a million people in it 8D
There were also other Kuroshitsuji cosplayers who entered the Masquerade Ball cosplay competition portion, and I got chased down by a Lizzy who tried to put pink bows in my hair D:
Once that was over, I got some food at the hotel's Subway(which...I have never been to before, really. I LIVE UNDER A HUGE ROCK, DON'T YOU KNOW? Then I went to go eat it over at the karaoke room, but the people running it weren't there, so the volunteer there started telling really hilarious stand-up comedy routines, and we all hooked up my and other people's ipod's and we all sang Disney songs, 90's songs, and some anime stuff. Went home at the quite early hour of 10pm, and SLEPT IN. So much so that I woke up late again(on purpose this time xD) and missed the Gundam gathering the next day. Which really, I found I didn't really care that much. xD
Onto Day 2!
Got to the con center around 3:30pm (LOL SO LATE, I FAIL), checked out the dealer's hall with Captain Gundam, and stopped for a while to chat with a bunch of people, like AJ and Noelle(You guys and your hilarious words~ xD), made a bunch of dinner plans, and I met up with some really old friends who I was excited to see again~ :3 Also said hi to Rex over at the Arda Wigs booth. What did you do Harl, ditch to go ride some camels again? xDDDD *shot*
When we went to the booth selling all the Gundam/mecha figures and models, they were playing Gundam 00 S2 ep 8 and I was wearing dress!Tieria, so it was perfect! xD Also took a picture next to the giant Gundam 00 meister posters they had on the other side of the booth. This one guy had asked for my picture, and so when I went to go pull my airsoft gun out of my purse, I was apologizing that it was taking so long for me to get it, but I couldn't have it out since it was against the weapon's policy, and I jokingly said, "Watch out for any staff members for me, do you see any?" And the guy promptly said "I'm on staff." ROFL. He didn't care though, so he gets a medal. xD
Then I went to go change into Lelouch for my private shoot which got moved to 7:30pm, and in the middle of changing, I got a call from Captain Gundam saying that he had spotted Sailor Anime in her dress!Tieria cosplay(of which version I didn't even know she did, so I wanted to see it), and without knowing what was going on, he put her on the phone with me! LOL. It was so awkward. rofl. Thankfully I ran into her when I was about to leave, and when I asked her if she was Sailor Anime, she was all like, "..You're Inuashley, right?" I DON'T KNOW HOW SHE KNEW WHO I WAS, BUT I WAS SO FLATTERED. lol. I'm just glad she didn't think I was some crazy fangirl stalker. rofl.
So when I was putting on my wigs and contacts in the bathroom, I noticed this really good C.C. cosplayer, so I told her that I was gonna be Lelouch when I was done, and how her costume was good etc etc. So I'm just standing there thinking to myself, and I get this completely crazy and unlike me thought of asking this girl if she wants to join me at my photoshoot. FFFFFFF. SO I DO. And her friend needed to translate for us since her English was pretty bad. But she seemed excited that I asked her, and she said yes, so off we went to the photoshoot. 8D
Now we all know how Lulu gets the girls. HE PICKS THEM UP IN BATHROOMS. rofl.
Photoshoot ended up being AMAZING. I am so excited to get the pictures back~ >w< The photographer, Oscar(OscarC on cosplay.com), surpassed my expectations, and had his whole lighting set-up, thankfully, and we were able to get really nice lighting in a place that I didn't even know was good to shoot at, but apparently was. lol. Also got some pairing shots, at her request, which turned out cute.
Then I headed up to California Pizza Kitchen to have dinner with Justin (J_Ryoga), Captain Gundam, Taylor, her boyfriend, someone who apparently knew me from DA, and a few of their friends, particularly this guy who I am now dubbing "Drunk Urahara" who made the best drunk jokes. -IT IS NOW DRUNK O'CLOCK.- xD
Got BBQ chicken pizza, which was fantastic, and then headed down the street and got Banana frozen yogurt~~
Went back to the con center, took some "family photos" of all of us, including some action shots, and then headed home! That's all for now! | Well, I'm back from Day 0 of Anime Expo~ I'm driving this year to save money, and it's turning out good so far, the parking lot is attached to the convention center and really close to where I need to be for most of the con, so it would actually be a lot farther should I have had to walk to the closest hotel. xDDD
I delivered my Axel chakrams to the person who bought them on ebay, my Axel wig to Danielle, and sent out the other items that I sold on ebay and a notebook from my sales post at AX. In total, I was able to pay for my iPhone, and made $440! So now I have enough for the AUSA plane ticket. Now I just need the money for the hotel and badge and I'll be all set :D
I got through the registration line pretty past, and was surprised when a bunch of old friends found me, which was nice~ Apparently the person who bought my Chakrams on ebay happened to commission me for a Demyx wig a while back and didn't know I was the same person. LOL
So instead of finishing my costumes yesterday, I marathoned Macross Frontier and I finished it tonight. xDD I'll be cosplaying the SMS version of Alto in time for Anime USA, and I'm really excited! I loved the series. ^^
I kind of wish I could cosplay Sheryl just because I sing well and it would be cool to perform in a karaoke contest cosplaying as her. xDDD
Olivia- You wanted me to cosplay Alto's Kabuki version. NOW I UNDERSTAND WHY NO ONE DID IT. YOU SILLY GIRL, HE'S A FREAKIN' GEISHA. LOLOLOL

*I dropped my summer Business class because I just don't have time to do everything, I'd be missing the final exam day due to Otakon, plus the teacher was just awful x_x So I'm glad that's out of the way.
*I FINALLY got a ship notification from Fabulous Fit that they shipped my dress form today. @_@ Apparently some of the parts were on backorder, and that's why it's been over a month and a half since I ordered. I hope it's worth it. xD
*I still haven't unpacked from Anime Next, LOL. Will do so tonight.

| So I spent a good portion of my day today trying to return my newly purchased iPhone 3G for the iPhone 3G S that just came out. Today is the 30th day exactly since I bought it, so with some finagling, I was able to return it fairly quickly at the apple store, but when they sent me to the AT&T store to figure out my account details, I had to wait for over an HOUR with absolutely nothing to do because of the stupid people who think it's the best idea in the world to figure out what phone plan they want IN THE STORE.
Once I finally got to the counter, I heard the guy next to me asking the girl who was helping him,
"But I thought this phone was free?"
Her: "Yes, it's free with the mail-in rebate."
Him: "But it says it's free."
Her: "Yes, but you have to pay tax on the $100 that you have to pay upfront."
Him: "But it says it's FREE."
OH MY GOD I WANTED TO PUNCH SOMEONE RIGHT THEN AND THERE. -_-
Anyways, my lovely situation just got that much better when they told me that the person who holds the account need to be there and show photo ID (that would be my dad), because apparently I never got added to the account, and to have to wait in line all over again. I just about flipped a shit and told the guy that I had been waiting there for an hour and a half, and missed a class because of their crap, and to let me speak with the manager, to whom I coerced into just letting me pre-order a new 3G S on the spot AND keep my old number, which they said I couldn't do before. I also don't have to pay any cancellation fees since I'm within 30 days. 8D So, all's well that ends well, I'll have a new white 32GB 3G S waiting for me in about a week to replace my 16GB 3G. For exactly the same price, at that, so I don't have to pay anything more. :D
TL;DR I will not have a cell phone for the next week or so. I'll still be able to check all my online messages though, so not to worry~ Also, any message/text that anyone left on my phone today after 6pm my time, I did not get, so please try to contact me a different way. | Well, since I've been so ridiculously busy to actually write something of meaning, I figured I'd do a short update on things that have been going on with me! ^^
-Cons: Anime Next is coming up next weekend, along with Anime Expo and Otakon, so I'm scrambling to get my costumes all finished and packed for AN. 5 days left, people! 8D Make it work!
(To those going to Anime Next: since, if it doesn't rain, it might be warm, I thought that we might want to go swimming. Y/N?)
-New costumes: I'll be doing Third arc Kanda (D.gray-Man) for Anime Next for vikki's group, along with Hallelujah(Gundam 00) at Anime Expo, and Duke Devlin (Yu-gi-oh!) for zippyz's group. ^^ Also currently working on getting Madam Red's ball outfit together, which will hopefully be done for one of the fall conventions~
-School: 3 people dropped the class, so I'm off the waitlist for my summer Financial Accounting class and officially registered. :D I'm also taking sewing classes twice a week over at the Viking gallery.
-Fitness: Tae Bo and staying away from all junk and sugar for months just wasn't doing it for me, so I decided to join Gold's Gym, at which my dad has been a member at for years, but hardly goes to due to his work. I'm so glad I did, because I met with a personal trainer and he told me the diet I'm supposed to be on, exactly what supplements and such I need to be taking, and I found out that I have muscle imbalances in my legs that I need to fix. ^^;;
Apparently my calves are overdeveloped in comparison to my thighs from dance, too many leg exercises, and wearing heels all the time, (fail :/) and thus it's making my knees go inward and my feet outward when I do workouts, causing me to have a great potential to hurt myself if I don't correct it.
Unfortunately, as great as having a personal trainer was for two sessions, we can't afford it for more sessions (12 1 hour sessions are $800 x_x). The good news is that I know what I need to be doing, and there are a plethora of classes available to me that come with my gym membership.
I've been following the diet/workout plan, and going to the gym to work out every day this week, and I've already lost 3 pounds and have kept it off so far :D I also have a lot more energy, so it's totally worth it. It's a really nice gym that has everything you'd need, so I feel really lucky to have that available to me. ^^
If anyone, for whatever reason, is interested in any of the great food/supplements that I got that help with diets(and taste really good, actually!), feel free to ask and I will let you know~ :D
-Misc: I recently got an iphone, and sometimes I accidentally hit the wrong button, and it calls people on my contacts list, so if you get a call from me where it stops ringing...it was probably just a mistake on my end. xD;;
-Makeup: I was sick of wearing the same colors of eyeshadow for years, so I went out and finally got some new colors, as well as this amazing lip color and lip stick for Madam Red, so pics are under the cut~ (I loved the case for the Givenchy lipstick, so I took a pic of it as well xD) And no, I will not be wearing green eyeshadow for Madam Red, it's just what I was wearing at the time. >.>

| | Life makes me laugh sometimes. xD I checked my grades last night, only to see to my horror that it said I had a F in my Business class. I knew that was impossible since I got full credit on all my assignments, was my group's impromptu leader, and got a 95 on my midterm. Apparently my professor lost my final and decided that it was because I didn't show up(which is totally not true, I have the witnesses and test question packet to prove it). After I emailed him to no avail, my mom called him up, explained the situation, and he went, "Oh, she's my favorite student, sorry for the misunderstanding, I still can't find the test but I'll give her an A since I know she's my best student." LOLOLOLOL. CRISIS AVERTED. So I finished my first semester of college with all A's except my Honors English class, of which I got a B.
